New import/export business opportunities in the Africa-UK corridor

The UK commits to providing immediate duty-free, quota-free access to goods exported from the SACU Member States and Mozambique, except for South Africa: Opportunities for import/export businesses.

The UK committed to providing immediate duty-free, quota-free access to goods exported from the SACU Mmber States (Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique and Namibia). South Africa is a member but excluded from the deal because there is an agreement that allows for 96% of South Africa's goods to be imported into the UK duty-free. In turn, these states will remove tarrifs and quotas for 85% of the UK's exports into the region.
